The Ranger Jacket: The Ranger Jacket is made from Dry-X®*. Dry-X® combines a highly durable Nylon material with a micro-porous waterproof and breathable coating, allowing perspiration to escape through the fabric while preventing moister from entering the garment. The Ranger is classic outerwear and one of High Gear’s most popular jackets. Warn by many National Ski Patrollers this jacket is a full-length full zip style with a straight seat cut and adjustable draw cords at the waist and bottom. It features all YKK® zippers, 500 Denier Cordura® shoulder yoke and reinforced forearm patches, 4 inch fleece lined collar, internal and external front zip storm flaps, two diagonal zippered chest pockets, two zippered hand warmer pockets, double interior security pockets, Oversized 16” pit zips to help with ventilation, adjustable Velcro® wrist closures and external detachable hood with draw cord and Velcro® closures. The Ranger meets National Ski Patrol standards and has been designed to withstand extreme winters from subzero Antarctic cold fronts to 33 snow and sleet storms. The Ranger is a proven performer.
